Hi Meica,

It looks as though we’ve made it through the list of Black Bear Conservatory faculty members to be profiled in the “Maestros in our Midst” series. There is the possibility for a final piece focused on a new initiative being undertaken by BBCM. Over the next several months, the Conservatory will launch a campaign to redefine its community image based upon updated goals. The effort includes a new logo and slogan, “Where Music Begins,” and an increased focus on music education from K through 6th grade. If Connections is willing to run this in the next issue, it could serve as a wrap-up to the series as well. Please let me know if this would work and I’ll get the story and photo to you in time for the next deadline.

I just read the [Unsung Hero] article written by Joshua about my daughter, Catherine. It is wonderful! I don’t know how else to tell you how great I feel right now. She is so very excited too.
